Events 2022-23

The school year has ended with another wonderful, fun-filled term to remember.

The children and staff were able to enjoy the sunshine, spending time at the beach and in the swimming pool. They also had the excitement of the end of term activities, which include trips such as Laser Quest, Rock Climbing and Flip-Out.

Some of the highlights this term were celebrating the Kings Coronation. We had scones with cream and jam and planted some trees at school. Also, a trip to Woody Bay train station, where the children were able to learn about steam engines.

Sports day helped us to finish the year with a bang – the children and staff had great fun working together in their teams for the day… and the children couldn’t help but laugh when the rope snapped during the adults tug of war, with everyone landing on the floor!

The start of the academic year has brought with it lots of new faces! We have had several new members of staff join our team and have welcomed lots of new children, which made for a very exciting start to Term 1.

The children and staff have been busy getting to grips with the VR Headsets, building models in Lego and learning new skills in Sport. Our progress was some-what hindered by the naughty Elves that invaded the childrens tutor rooms in December!

Alongside this the children have had the pleasure of visiting the Minehead Eye, Watermouth Castle and have been Orienteering. Also, they worked really hard to raise money for Children In Need, raising a huge total of £199!

Sadly we had to close the school for one week in December, thanks to the icy conditions and snow that hung around in the last week of term, but everyone kept their spirits up and worked through it from home. Well done everyone.
