Snow Days

Unfortunately the consequence of the school being situated in a lovely rural area surrounded by fields, hills and country roads, is that access to the school site can be affected by poor weather in the winter. In the event that poor weather is imminent we will review our procedures and advise parents of this outcome. Taxis will usually not travel if poor weather involving snow is forecast. This is a decision taken between the taxi firm and the Local Authority Transport Team and although we will do all that we can to keep parents updated on the situation, it is one that is beyond our control. We will also keep this website up to date with decisions. In the event that school is closed due to poor access, parents and carers will find snow day work on this page which they can access. This is project type work designed to be more easy to engage your child with.
