Hi I’m Barney and I’m a fox-red Lab. I come to school a few days a week and get super excited when I arrive. I am very playful and love zooming around the field with the children. I really like snack time at school because the children get cheese, which is one of my favourites and when they drop it I get to scoff it up.
BORDER LAKELAND TERRIER
PARSLEY
My name is Parsley and I am a border lakeland terrier. I am young and very lively at nearly two years old. I have also been coming to school since I was 8 weeks old.
I really enjoy playing with the children and sometimes get in trouble for stealing the balls and have been known to burst them. My favourite thing is going for long walks and runs with children. I like to race them along as fast as they will go! I also really love going out on the bus with the children.

ROSIE
Although no longer with us, Rosie will always be a Libra Mascot.
Rosie was a border terrier and was very old at 13 years. She had been coming to school since she was 8 weeks old and was very tiny.
Through the years Rosie cuddled lots of children. She was very kind and gentle and loved to sit quietly beside anybody who wanted her company. Lots of children who might have been a bit nervous of dogs learnt from Rosie that dogs can be a lovely friend.
When she was younger she really loved going out for walks with the children and playing outside. Rosie really enjoyed going out with the mountain bikes and orienteering. As she grew old, her favourite thing to do was find children who want some quiet time with her.
Her most favourite person in all the world was Alan Wilkes.

Hi I am Woody. I am a Working Cocker Spaniel who loves nothing more than long walks and as much attention as anyone can give me! I am 9 years old and I have been spending time with the children at Libra since I was a puppy. I have a reputation for being very excitable and energetic and a big softie!
LABRADOR
BOW
Hi I am Bow. I am 9 year old Labrador cross beagle. I absolutely love going to forest school with everyone. I am brilliant at hunting out fox or badger poo and then rolling in it from my head to my tail. It’s great! I am not so keen on the shower I need afterwards though when I get home. I am also very good at ‘sharing’ although some children say ‘stealing’! lunch boxes.
